Becky Ryan is the Director of Marketing for Bel Brands USA, the U.S. subsidiary of the French company, Fromageries Bel.  At Bel Brands she is responsible for all of the marketing activities of the three specialty cheese brands under The Laughing Cowâ name: Wedges, Mini Babybelâ, and Cheesebitesâ.  Becky reversed the 10-year decline of Mini Babybel, driving a sales increase of more than 150 percent in the last six years (before the low-carb phenomenon).  She also introduced key new products to The Laughing Cow line including Gourmet Cheese & Baguetteô – the first ever “adult” cheese snack pack.  In addition, she revamped the packing and positioning for the product line, and was the first to produce television commercials for the company.

Prior to working at Bel Brands, Becky enjoyed an 11-year career at The Dannon Company, Inc., rising to the position of group product manager in which she supervised all strategy development, marketing plans, and implementation for Dannon Light and Dannon Plain yogurts.  Before Dannon, she served as a senior financial analyst for Pepsi-Cola.  Becky has an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Chicago, an MA in French history also from the University of Chicago, and a BA in European history from Michigan State University.
